Antivirus, the software that protects us from computer related threats. I've been using ESET NOD32 for about a year and a half. Before that, I was using AVG.
What about you? What have you used in the past?

I used to have Norton, but my subscription just ran out. I was actually going to start a thread and ask if there were any good free ones out there?

I don't use them. I don't download that much, and when I do I know exactly what it is.
Plus, if my antivirus were to expire, who's to say that it wouldn't put a virus on your computer making you need to buy a license for another year!

I just use Windows Security Essentials. It does the job, and I haven't had a single virus yet. I've heard thats its a huge cpu hog but I have yet to really see that. Maybe on singlecore cpu? I dont know.
It does the job, plain and simple.

Kaspersky Antivirus. I am using it for more than 3 years, never had any problem since I installed it.

^ Living life on the edge! As long as you know the sites you're visiting you really don't need it. Porn is the downfall of most computers.

I go on here, FB, Twitter, my blog and a few other forums and that's about it so I'm quite safe.
