I've recently lost basically all my work because of Mirrorimg.net closing, have you lost any of your work recently? It really sucks because at the time when Xcessive announced it was closing I didn't think to go and backup all my images, silly me obviously!

After vImg Pro, wImg, and MirrorImg, it's hard for me to trust any image hosts owned by people of the ProBoards community. I actually use pImg as it's quick, but I make sure to have what I upload backed up somewhere. Also, I use MediaFire for my resources now.

I don't feel secure using pImg either, it's new and I don't know much about it where if I hosted my own images I knew they weren't suddenly going to go offline.

Where have you been? pImg is not new at all. It's been online for like 2 years... In fact, it was open BEFORE mirrorImg, yet you all ran there why?

I personally thought pImg sucked before version 3. It's pretty awesome with the albums and stuff now. The design is cool as well.

I'm glad you like the design ; ) And yes pImg has improved exponentially and I'm pretty sure it's just going to get better and better.

I went there because I actually trusted the owner and knew him from here. His hosting was actually decently quick too.

iPokemon owns pImg, he is a member on this forum as well. :L I still choose to keep away from it. Ohh, and I see no reason to login to a site when I want to upload an image, that just gets boring.

To help solve this issue and therefore make it unnecessary for me to be paranoid about events like this, I use my own server.

That is why I have an external hard drive, my friend. Cloud storage seems good, but is totally useless if you don't have an internet connection.
Sent from my HTC One S using ProBoards for Android.
