Wimg did reopen and will most likely remain open. Well that post failed. Xcessive, I like the host. I've tried it and it's pretty fast. As for the design, I have to say it isn't the best looking, nor the worst. However, I assume you will redesign when you decide to update, so overall, that is a neat uploader. =]

Than what is it if its not flat or db? When you store an image on your computer. Do you store it in a database or in a text file, or do you just keep it on disk. Do you know anything about file systems? Do you even know the difference between FF and DB? @dylan thanks.

I meant are they uploaded into a database like mysql, or are they stored in a folder somewhere on your vps.

I meant are they uploaded into a database like mysql, or are they stored in a folder somewhere on your vps. In answer to your question I will pose another. How would you store an image in a database in a way that gives people a proper URL? I cant think of a way to do it that wouldnt destroy the CPU of the server. Storing them merely as images seems to me to be the most logic and effective option as it uses the least amount of: memory, bandwidth, time to code, and also gives people an effect url to a.. well.. to their image. Although I do store a record with the url, uploader, time of upload, etc in a relational database for my own admin application. So my answer was neither... because its both, although flatfile != file dir just for your information. ;D
