I dont mind homework, I don't get much of it so I can't complain. I don't see the point in working after being at school It sounds pretty dumb to be honest but I guess we need to learn to get good jobs.

Ha you don't get much of it? Wait till year 11 or grade 10, whatever system New Zealand uses (it's commonwealth, so I'm guessing years).
I don't mind it as long as it isn't constant. IT coursework I've enjoyed doing at home, the odd English essay/article/review/report I don't mind, the odd maths practise exam paper is cool too, but if it's constant, I'm more likely to be driven away from it.
Luckily all of my coursework is now complete, so no more stress there, just revision for nine exams, and of course recurring revision in lessons (which gets boring!)

Well because of the earthquake we start school at 8 finish at 12:30 and then another school uses our school due to theirs being wasted. They said the would give us extra homework but haven't Usually our homework is finishing of what we were doing and a bit extra at the moment but I can get it all done in the 45 minute period and bamm no homework

Things will much much different if you attend a university or college because it's mostly up to you to learn the material. I spent over 10 hours on my last programming assignment for one class which also has other assignments at the same time.
