How to make a image have a shadow effect (in photoshop) First Step: Select the layer text and right click or double click on the layer. Second Step: If you right clicked, click blending options. If you double clicked it's the same as clicking blending options. Third Step: Click onto drop shadow and make sure it is checked. Forth Step: Next to a drop down box you will see a colour in a square generally black. That is what colour you want the shadow to be, click it to change it. Fifth Step: Now, we need to make the shadow do the shadow thing. The angle is what angle you want the shadow to be, change if needed. Change the distance depending how far away you want the shadow effect to be away from the text. The spread is how much you want it to spread. Then the size is how big you want it to be. So you don't have to keep pressing ok to see how it looks there is a little preview on the right hand side of the window. Then press ok once you're done and the shadow effect will appear! Note: This was made using PhotoShop CS4, some buttons might be different in other versions. © Luke, do not repost anywhere with out my permission.
