As others have suggested, it would be better to block all except the types you want to be allowed.

As others have suggested, it would be better to block all except the types you want to be allowed. I don't get it though, wouldn't it be easier and better to block certain ones and let the rest be free to be uploaded? =/ |

How so?
If you block out all file types but a certain few, that means ALL file types are covered automatically. Meaning in-case you forgot one, or don't know of a certain file type, you'll still be secure. Whereas if you manually pick what ones arent allowed in, you may forget one and your website can become compromised.
