Yes i;m going to wait a while too seems the standards are changing a fair bit with this but as soon as it stable and supported on most browsers i'll be all over it.

Yes not only that I'll then change all my current websites into html5 once it has full browser support as by then the validation rules will I'm guessing be on the side of 5

I don't see much use for it until it is supported well by all the major browsers and with IE being IE I don't see that happening any time soon.
