So in September I started an intranet chatroom based on the reading and writing of a single text file. So its pretty much useless, but its kind of neat to play around with. Note: I wrote this in visual basic 6. So there are MANY things wrong with it. Like the way you submit messages and whatnot. You can download it here: xmuarcade.com/ClassChat.zipFeatures: - Changeable display names (program chooses one of ten preset) - Auto-update (real time) - Manual controls (from first version, never removed. Useless if auto-update is on) - Editable fonts (preset families, sizes, styles) - Admin panel with delete chat file option - Browse file feature (for easier file-finding) - Other things I cannot remember (its been a while) Also: admin password is "cookies"

Meh. Not really. If you use a comma in a message it deletes itself and everything before it.

It's a shame that PI isn't an integer :(

Haha, nice. I remember I made the same kind of program for transferring binary files from my desktop to laptop using VB 6 and winsock API and showed it to my brother and he flipped. Haha He was like "how did you do it?" and I was like "I don't know...". XD

Oo.. I wouldn't ever have any idea how to do anything in VB. I'm a web developer, not a desktop application creator lol. I have VB Studio on my computer, just don't know how to use it.. Nice work Colin
