Oh come on I'm sure you've coded much harder things It is hard to code around a predefined layout tho, especially tables and you have to loop through elements and stuff. I've definitely coded much harder things that required more thought, but this was just tedious because I was having to extract so much information from the HTML which changes for members, guests, admins etc. The challenge was being able to stay motivated and not get pissed off whenever something broke because there's additional rows when there's a poll, and then there's different markup for the various kinds of polls etc. It just becomes a huge pain to find all the different scenarios, and then have to use Javascript to extract the information you need, and then have to code the skin in Javascript rather than in just pure HTML/CSS like normal people. I would have never made it that far. RegEx hates me with a fiery passion, only in Javascript though. PHP RegEx works fine for me.. it's just I didn't learn javascript as well as I know PHP now, so I'm kind of screwed in the department of all the node knowledge, and child nodes and such.. So yea, you've gone farther than anyone probably would have ever gone. Kudos to you

So yea, you've gone farther than anyone probably would have ever gone. Kudos to you Thanks man. Once you get really good with Regular Expressions your knowledge will carry over to other languages fairly well. I've been working with Perl at my new job, and its regexp syntax is very similar to Javascript. The things that usually differ is how you replace or search etc. The actual patterns seem to be the same. For example, in Perl, if you want to replace all the newlines in a string that contains the contents in a file, you would do: $stringVariable =~ s/ [\r\n]+//g; In Javascript, you would do stringVariable = stringVariable .replace(/ [\r\n]+/g, ""); As you can see, the pattern is exactly the same: [\r\n]+ I haven't done much php regexp, though, so it may be significantly different. And I traverse the DOM a lot cause I'm a C++ guy so I'm used to pointers.

Thanks for all of the compliments everyone. It's always great to hear feedback. <3
We've still got a lot of features in the work, so keep an eye out for that. ^^

If you like to code and want to tackle a challenge, improve your skills, or just show off, xcessive and I have started a "Coding Challenges" board which has a variety of challenges that we encourage everyone to try out whether you are a beginner or an expert. 4our.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=codingchallenges
