How do you pick colours for your designs? Do you use something special or just play around?
I mainly just play around and see what works well.

^ Nice. I just play around mostly. Or I'll get inspired by some random thing I see while I'm out. Sometimes it's product packaging, sometimes it's things in nature. When I'm completely stumped I use colorschemedesigner.com

I seem to always know what color I want, but the hardest part is finding the color code for it

I normally use old colour schemes that come from artwork that has inspired me. They create decent templates and other small graphics.
