Are you taking out the 1tb Hard Drive from your current computer and putting it into your new set up? Cause 64gb wont be enough!

Haha! I'm actually going to upgrade it to 256 mb of ram. I also have a 40gb hard drive laying around from an old Alienware computer that I'll stick in it. Also out of that computer I have a 32MB graphics card (it beats the 2mb onboard I currently have!), and I heard you can overclock the processor to 450 mhz! The last step is to install a light weight version of linux. I'll be looking into what distro I want to use So all in all it should be a pretty fun project!

> i7 950 OCd to 4Ghz. > 6GBs OCd Corsair Dominator RAM. I spent many hours configuring these to sync perfectly with my FSB clock so there is 0 latency between them and the CPU bus. Fastest RAM you will ever see. People think RAM with a fast clock speed is "faster". They are wrong, its all about timing so there's no memory latency. > 5970 Toxic Edition (OCd GPU clock, 4GB VRAM) > 240gb Vertex II SSD > 1TB Caviar Black HDD. > Various Aftermarket Coolers. > 1000 Watt CoolerMaster PSU.
Built it myself and OCd all but the graphics card myself.

I plan to do a new build next year when AMD bring out their Bulldozer cores and make their 10 core CPU model to compete with the new Ivy Bridge processors using the new 22nm fab process.

I heard they were only going up to 8 cores. On the first series of bulldozers at least. I'm actually ordering my parts for my new build this coming Sunday. And i7-2600k, 8gb ddr3 1866 mhz ram, 64gb sata iii ssd, and an Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Motherboard Also a corsair 600t case, the special edition that's white. It's gonna be a sick computer!

You'll feel like even more of a noob, when I tell you x86 is 32-bit. x64 is 64-bit.
