Hello,
What do you think, which one is easier to learn and master - vector graphics or raster? Well, raster is obviously easier, but what do you think about vector graphics? I think vector graphics skills are very important and sometimes it's even more important than raster graphics.
Cheers, Zaborg

They're both formats for graphic imaging. Raster is based on pixels (which is pretty much what we all use for sigs, banners, etc). Vector is based on mathematical equations, this way you can blow up an image to any size without losing any clarity (whereas with raster, if an image were enlarged too much it would appear pixelated.) The vector format is used primarily for printing.
But like tosh said, it just depends what you're doing. I wouldn't really consider one more important than the other.

I prefer vector, though I almost exclusively work with raster. I can't wait until SVG support comes to all the major browsers. I'll be designing everything with them Vector webpages taking over the internet? That'll be one *glasses* smooth move. YEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
