Just wondering, does anyone here use/has anyone ever used test-driven development when writing code?
For anyone who doesn't know what it is, the basic premise is to write test cases for parts of your programs, before you write the actual program code. This way, you have a checklist of things you need to accomplish when writing your code. Tests are also useful as your program grows. You can use the tests you initially created to check for bugs/broken code.
I have been meaning to use test-driven development on my website. However, because I am well into programming, and because my code wasn't built to be easily tested, adding a bunch of tests now would require a lot more effort than I am able to put into it at the moment.
