I actually agree with this somewhat. There really is not a need for three administrators. You can say, "well, we all have our own jobs behind the scenes," all you want, but until you actually tell us what that is, that doesn't mean anything. I really think Nick should be demoted or he needs to resign or something. He said he's going to be inactive for awhile anyways, so there's no need for him to be kept on the staff team. I don't think Deko should be removed though. Three administrators just really isn't needed.

Well the staffing doesn't really seem like an issue right now (other than you guys getting all technical on member counts etc), so we are going to keep it how it is for now until it precents a problem.

Sounds to me like you just completed shoved my feedback away. Explain to me why you need to be an administrator on a forum you plan to rarely go on for a month or two once you really start developing CentBB.

I answered you, along with everybody else in the post.
Staffing isn't proposing an issue as of now.
We have 3 administrators because we are all purpose. We don't really have any mods cComrade who is one to do requests. The 3 of us (admins) pretty much do everything maintenance wise. We look through posts, we do graphics, we manage relations and everything.
Really, we could be called 'Forum Care-Takers'. We may not necessarily fit the average 'Administrator Role', but we all manage the forum. Plus having an administrator on more often is nicer because we are here to answer questions (like these) in a pretty speedy manner, which is another reason why we are here.
I really don't see what problems you guys have with three administrators. I don't see it hurting the forum in any way.
As for me leaving;
I will be gone for a solid month starting this Sunday. Luke, Colin (edenwax), and I discussed it and decided that it really wouldn't be worth taking away the position, then when I get back reinstate me. Colin is on a 2 week vacation, but we didn't demote him while he was on the trip because he is still an administrator.

If you think about it, it's best to have people who have powers to stop spam and a lot of chaos is going on recently. It's just a name and I'm on when those two aren't on (sometimes) so when something goes wrong over night, I don't know till I wake up and one of them can stop it or alert me.

This is how it should be imo since this forum is growing in numbers.
3 Admins 3 Global Mods 2 Mods
That's 8 staff members out of about 200 members. Not that much in my eyes. And we have some great members here that I think would do a good job and not take crap from any spammers.

Why not? Global mods can edit boards and such when admins are away, and mods can lock topics and such just examples.

Well, us three admins kind of take on the responsibility of Global Mods as well as Administrators. We pretty much do everything. Therefore there really isn't a need for more staff, or to demote any of us. We have a good working system

cComrade just does Graphic requests. That's why he was originally a moderator I believe. He actually used to be a 'Head Designer', but we felt that the 'Moderator' Position better fit what he did.
I'm not sure if he wants to continue being a staff member or not since he has a new born kid now. However, if he does we wouldn't be in any immediate hurry to replace him thanks to the....

Alright, so why not have groups that mod the Graphic board, Groups that take care of Spammers and what not then maybe a certain bunch that reports to admins if there are any issues they can't handle?

That would make perfect sense, but deciding the amount of staff members has nothing to do with the member count. A good portion of those members include bots, inactive members, and even a few banned members. So, that wouldn't be a proper way to decide the amount of staff members needed for the forum.
