Really? Lol. I've used SLAX portable before, but I could never figure out how to connect it to the internet. I use Ubuntu now, but I still need to upgrade to 10.10. I still have 10.04

I have only used Ubuntu. 10.04 had problems for me so I had to stay with 9.10 for the time being. I haven't tried 10.10.

I used Ubuntu 10.04 since its release till the other week nonstop until I built my computer which has Windows 7. It would completely freeze up not responding to anything and on the screen would be black with small areas of color or black with white stripes covering probably 3/4 of the screen. After Googling it all the results either fix it or some sort of workaround didn't seem to work.

Well yes and kind of. You can do a lot with your bars. Like have multiple bars, and choose what items you want on them. As far as customizing the source, I have not tried it yet, but I am hopefully going to be doing LFS (Linux from Scratch) so I can learn how to customize linux further.

A while back me and a mate (Avid) were going to customize Puppy Linux to make it cool =D

That would be so hard to make one from scratch. I don't think I'll ever attempt it. Too much dedication that I know I can't commit.
