A Dark skin takes style and skill to make it look cool, and then it just turns into a Light skin...
I like light skins with dark influences...

I really dont have a favorite. I think both can be eye-pleasing if pulled off right.

Doesn't really matter, though light skins are usually more of my style. I like classy skins xD
I like both though, just as long as the colors flow!

I only ever enjoy making dark designs. But I'll do light ones every now and again...for a nominal fee. XD

A Dark skin takes style and skill to make it look cool, and then it just turns into a Light skin... I like light skins with dark influences... I think you make a really good point. Dark skins are very difficult, unless you have some serious skill in Photoshop. It also depends on the colors you use, because there is a point where you can take dark and make it too dark. It's definitely difficult to balance out the look of the skin, and the actual colors used throughout the forum.
On the other side, light skins usually have a much more clean look. Personally, I love lighter skins compared to darker ones. I think that a mixture of green, gray, and white make a really great balance if you make it work. However, I have seen some dark skins throughout Proboards that have looked amazing but it'll need to be complex to look good. Simplicity in darker skins never seem to impress (prove me wrong?).
