Hi,
Okay so about 5 people have asked me how to make my signature, and it's really not that cool, but okay, i'll make a tutorial
Program Used: GIMP - download free at Gimp.org
Size - 500 x 250 px's
Font - Sans Bold (optional - just looks better )
Font Size - About 85
Okay so lets begin o.O
Step 1)
Go into Gimp and go to File < New < 500 x250 px's
-Now change your font to Sans Bold, size about 85 (optional)
Step 2) Type in the main line, like "Ooop"
Step 3) Change the font size to about 20, and write a slogan.
Step 4)
A. Right click on the layer that has your main line like "Ooop" alpha to selection. Create a new layer WHILE you have the previous layer selected.
B. Now select the "Eclipse Select Tool" and look at the bottom for these buttons:
Click on the one I highlighted with green.
C. Now be sure you still have the layer with your name selected, make a large circle near the bottom, so it makes it look slanted, like my sig below. Now create a new layer, and make it white, then adjust the opacity so it looks glossy
Now for your slogan do the above again ^
Now merge all of the layers together, be sure to delete the white background layer though!
Step 5) Now click on duplicate, click that, then go to your tools and choose the Flip Tool, then go down to the bullets, and choose vertical, click on the duplicated layer, it should flip, move it down so it looks like its a reflection, change the opacity.
Step 6) Right click on the reflection layer, and click on "Add Layer Mask" keep all the settings default, now change the fore&background colors to black and white, go to Gradient Tool, and start at about the middle, and go up.
You should now have a nice looking signature
Yours should come out similar.
