For one, save in .png. Best format ever. Second, if you're going to shrink an image, keep it's resolution the same (or whatever you call it). It'll help loads.

That's a pretty cool concept. I would say this: some of your renders have a little white outline to them. I'd try to erase some of that.
Also, some of your pokemon aren't proportionate to what their actual size would be. Lugia's a huge pokemon and its sort of average size there.

Also, it looks like you just found some Pokemon images and pasted them onto a background, I would blend them in more.
