Earlier Luke showed me that you can use Teamviwer on your iPod to take control of your desktop, so I thought there must be a way to create a short cut to turn your monitor off from your desktop. Well there is.
It's really simple also, All you need is this Files Then do this.
Desktop > Right click > New Shortcut
“C:\path\to\nircmd.exe” cmdwait 1000 monitor off
So for me it would be:
"C:\Users\Kenneth\Desktop\Desktop Crap\nircmd.exe" cmdwait 1000 monitor off
This is really useful for me because I always get all comfortable then look over at a bright glare and see that I forgot to turn off my pc screen, I read you can do other things like eject DVD treys but I haven't tried it that'd be useful for sticky buttons I guess?
Still worth a fun try.
