I can make up for that.
1) Wasn't 'DotBu' the name of the OS you were going to make?
2) Courier New is a bit boring, use a better font!
3) What Nick said.
4) Is it going to be ad-free, or with ads?

Protip: Go with Helvetica Neue. Its what everybody is using these days, but it looks nice nonetheless.

As an alternative font, perhaps include Verdana.

I like the font that it uses for the status once it's posted. It's just when actually making it where it seems to lack style.

Looks pretty good. No ads is definitely the way to go: it keeps things cleaner (if you can afford to do it).

In my opinion I think the top bar doesn't look very great.. Try to make something more unique or you just look like a flat out facebook wanna be lol. O.o
