Make sure you add the css <style></style> tags before and after the code thats already been posted.
<style> a:hover {text-decoration:none;} </style>

It doesn't matter where the CSS is placed because it will still be parsed and applied to the page, however, the sooner it gets parsed the better in my opinion so I recommend your Global Header. Normally you want your css to be in your head tag, preferably in an external file so it can be cached. Having css in the body of the page is crappy, but it's something we have to do on the current version of Proboards.

Well both are wrong. <style> isnt wrong per say, but its incomplete. Browsers will still read it, but proper html requires defining which kind of style. (not sure why, but I think this was dealt with in html5?) It should be <style = "text/css"> </style>
