Pretty much what 2787cmt said They can also be first class smart alic know it alls, like on the v5 suggestion board One of the admins was pretty much calling every suggestion stupid or being a smart alic over it. How is that being professional? Without seeing the whole thread, I cannot determine whether or not they handled it right. They probably did, but when people's suggestions get shot down, they do tend to get defensive, which could lead to the misconception that their suggestion was put down because the staff were being a 'smart alic' or 'not professional'.

No it wasn't, they could just lock the topic if a user starts doing something like that. Like I said they'll just ignore the people they don't like or aren't friends with and go on about with their happy little day.
I thought their favoritism stopped but looks like it hadn't.

And I've been around 5 years and yet they act like a normal member has no idea what's going on in the background even though the admins pretty much told us in the past Didn't you say a few months back to me you don't even know why your still a mod there or something? Also all this is going on in the General talk board which had nothing to do with supporting customers they should just get rid of it like they've done in the past I understand that, it took me awhile to understand that though. It's hypocritical if you ask me though, to enforce rules upon only certain people, that's certainly not professional. They let the active members run wild and make chaos in the general chat really. Yet, any active member who does the same will be sure to be slapped with a warning. How is that fair? What, did they eventually give up on enforcing the rules on those people who makes hundreds of posts on ProBoards Support a day? Also, it seems to me that the professionalism level has been dropped by a couple of the newer administrators. A couple of them act exactly like the wild active members, and I've even seen an administrator get in an argument with an active member over a debate. I know, it's a debate, so that's okay right? Well, what they were doing wasn't really even an aggressive debate. It just turned into insulting each other. They probably should get rid of it if it causing this much drama. I don't pay attention or even know what happened so I can't comment on this anymore. However, there is the fact that ads are shown on Proboards Support which can generate a lot of money so I doubt they'd take it down for good. From all the comments here it sounds like there are some legitimate problems so you guys may be right. I would have to read the forums more often to see it happening, though.

They want to act like Professional on things that pop up fine but at least be fair They have :
- Let a user call my topics and posts stupid, I sent a message saying what's her problem, if she doesn't like my posts then shouldn't she just ignore them as well? When I talked to an admin about it they said there was nothing he could do because I asked her what she thought of me.
- There are constant debates, there was a debate board they could of just moved the 'heated' Topic to. I mean if were not allowed to have an active debate board then there shouldn't be a Welcome board, and a game board. If they can move welcome threads then they can move any other topic just as easily.
- A big problem that causes these types of debates are members don't know when to admit their wrong they constantly post about their opinions which is overly abused and an excuse to bring up who's right and who's wrong. As well as their religion, news, etc...
We have every right to complain about a board that keeps doing us wrong due to the facts I asked them to ban me and this isn't Support. We aren't bad mouthing anyone were just stating why were upset with them and they don't want to make a change to better their support board.
Even if it's for customer service or not tell me how are all the things that were said in this topic look professional? I really hope you don't think were not being honest because it would take some time to think up such a lie now wouldn't it?
Their biggies 'trolls' Are in face their Veterans that are running wild in the topics maybe they feel like kings because they've been there for a long time and deserve not to get punished but when they do they usually end up whining about it.
As I said customer service or not they really should listen to users problems it is their problem because it gives them a bad reputation and I've seen enough posts in this thread to know I'm not completely wrong about that.

But you gotta hand it to those veterans, it takes guts to be able to participate in that community for over a year. I started posting for a week and left because it was boring/people were weird/I got a billion pm's asking me to code things for them. Shit got annoying, fast.
