What's your favorite OS that is no longer supported?
Mine is definitely Windows 98 SE.

Personally, I like the newer versions of Windows enough that I don't miss the old versions. That being sad, I do miss being able to play old computer games, which I am not able to do, even on XP.

Deko.... you just.... why?? M-E WAS TERRIBLE Nuhuh! ME was the only one that worked with my graphics editing program at the time (MS Image Composer). I spent a couple of years learning the ins and outs of that program. As soon as ME was phased out I had to learn how to use something completely new. Which is alot to ask of a stubborn 13 year old

Pfffft. We spent $1400 on a computer with ME and it was terrible. (to be fair, it was an HP with a Celeron 633mhz 64mb ram and 19gb hard drive space with integrated graphics). But it was still terrible. It crashed every hour or so until we had someone modify it for us. Also this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZegWedG-jk4I know its technically not an OS, but its hilarious.

Haha, Edenwax. My parents spent that much on a computer (like 1100). It was also an hp. Specs:
300mhz celeron 64mb ram spacious 4gb hard drive (exact words on case xD)
The case is like a cube! It even has ISA slots (which were the old PCI slots. They are frickin monsters!)
Does anyone have a computer running Windows 2000 on it? I want you to test a program out on it!

Not exactly. It wasn't transparent at all. The case is similar shape, almost the same.
Wish I had a camera, I'd show the world its ancientness! I heard you can overclock it to 450mhz by boosting the fsb from 66 to 100, so I'll do that once I find some time. Then I'll install Mint Linux or something small.

Mmmmm good choice. Without Unix the computing world would be a strange, dark place.

Whatever version of MacOS my Performa 475 ran. That was a pretty good operating system. Plus, it was never connected to the internet, so I never had to worry about viruses or spyware (or the @#$% software to "protect" from them)!
